About Quaddle
Petoi Quaddle is a compact open-source quadruped robot designed for makers, students, educators and robotics researchers. Its unusual four-servo omnidirectional mechanism allows Quaddle to walk, strafe sideways and spin in place while keeping the hardware relatively simple and affordable. Quaddle runs on Petoi OpenCat and supports block coding, MicroPython, Python, Arduino C++ and ROS. Builder, Buddy and Scout versions provide progressively more advanced capabilities. Buddy and Scout add open-domain AI conversation, touch interaction and Learn & Replay, which allows users to physically guide the robot through a movement and replay it later. Scout adds gesture, light and infrared sensing and supports an optional AI vision module. Quaddle is designed as an expandable physical-AI platform with LEGO-compatible mounting and customizable 3D-printable components.
