Others are marked as database candidates because they are worth tracking but have not yet been added to WolfieWeb's database.
Scores are WolfieWeb editorial ratings, not laboratory certification. Rankings can change as robots gain deployments, new hardware, better AI or verified commercial availability.

How Chapter Four was assembled
WolfieWeb's existing robot database supplied the database-backed entries. Emerging candidates were cross-checked against current 2026 humanoid-robot tracking and industry reporting. Candidate status does not mean a robot is already in the WolfieWeb database.

One hundred robots — and the race is just beginning
Across four chapters, the ranking shows an industry moving from isolated demonstrations toward a real ecosystem of factories, research labs, startups, AI models, components and increasingly practical deployments.
The list should not remain frozen. As new machines appear and existing robots gain real-world evidence, WolfieWeb can move entries up, down or into the database while preserving this report as a living guide to the humanoid-robot race.
